Despite CLT mats boasting a significantly lighter weight profile (up to 40% less than bolted mats), which allows for cheaper shipping, CLT mats are made to stand tough under pressure, no matter the application.
How does it work? CLT mats are created using an innovative process that involves bonding alternating perpendicular layers of wood with an environmentally safe adhesive, which allows the mat to disperse weight throughout the entire unit as opposed to just the bolting points. This flexibility translates to superior performance even under the heaviest of loads, as well as a life cycle that is 3-5 times the length of traditional timber matting.
